Public Safety Notice :Knife surrender initiative. 

Dear Residents,

To help keep our communities safe, Alvaston snt will be located outside Ascot Drive Police Station situated on Ascot Drive with a Red amnesty Bin to hand in any unwanted or illegal knives or bladed- items-  No questions asked . This is your opportunity to help reduce knife- related harm and keep dangerous weapons off our streets. We will be available :

Sunday 25th May 2025 

Time 13:00hs till 14:00hs. 

Ascot Drive Police Station Ascot Drive Derby.

No arrests will be made for possessing  knives handed in during the initiative,  unless they are linked to a known crime. 

Lets work together to make our communities safer. If you have a knife you no longer want or shouldn't have- hand it in, don't hold on to it.
